The game consists of battling in “Wanzers” (a play on the German word Panzers) or walking tanks because the Japanese are seriously obsessed with tanks with legs. Its not bad or anything and it is slowly growing on me but my mind has yet to be blown. I’m maybe 5 missions in and i’m not horribly impressed. From what I read prior this game has been held in fairly high regard.
I’m able to play this via a English fan patch and a flash cart but I’m using my SNES. Id rather play it on a large TV anyways with decent music. I think a English game boy advance version was released here a few years ago but I’m not sure. For those of you that do not know Front Mission was a Japan only release Stratagy RPG for the SNES (or super Famicom). So I played the intro to this game maybe a month ago then It just sort of sat there until today.
Excuse the images BTW I don’t use an emulator and I don’t have a fancy screen image capture device…though I may invest in a cheap S-video one or something in the near future if I can figure out how to grab screen going to my TV. I started Front Mission in earnest today.
